Vyshneve in the Kyiv region became one of the main targets of the Russian attack on July 6. The scale of destruction in the city turned out to be colossal, requiring immediate intervention at the state level. The Government of Ukraine is already preparing a decision to allocate billions of hryvnias from the reserve fund to assist the victims and restore infrastructure.

### Scale of financial support

The announcement regarding the allocation of funds appeared in the Telegram channel of the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yulia Svyrydenko. According to the data, the government has instructed the relevant ministries to urgently prepare a decision to allocate 3.04 billion hryvnias. These funds will be directed to address the most pressing problems arising from the strike.

The priority is supporting the population. The money is planned to be used for compensations to owners whose housing was completely destroyed or seriously damaged. In addition, funding will go towards the restoration of homes that have suffered the most damage but can be restored.

### Damage to infrastructure and business

The destruction affected not only the private sector. Preliminary inspections showed that 253 private houses and 27 apartment buildings were damaged. In the high-rise buildings, 1,692 windows were blown out, making normal living impossible without urgent repairs.

A separate part of the funding is intended for the capital repair of apartment buildings and the restoration of utility networks, which were also damaged. Furthermore, assistance will be needed for entrepreneurs: 65 appeals regarding damaged property have been received from business representatives.

### Investigation of the attack circumstances

In connection with the tragic consequences of the strike, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, has already instructed the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and the intelligence services to investigate all circumstances of the explosions in Vyshneve. The goal of the investigation is to establish the details of the attack and identify those responsible for the damage inflicted on the civilian population.
