Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has appealed to the international community to take decisive measures to protect Ukrainian airspace. The head of state emphasized that Russia continues to destroy civilian infrastructure and expects concrete decisions from the NATO summit in Ankara capable of stopping this terror.

### Massive Attack on Kyiv

During the night leading into today, the capital of Ukraine and the Kyiv region were subjected to an unprecedented strike. Russian occupiers deployed a massive arsenal: according to Ukrainian authorities, 68 missiles and 351 attack drones were launched.

Currently, efforts to eliminate the consequences of the attack are ongoing. Preliminary data indicates impacts in more than 10 locations within Kyiv, a significant portion of which involves residential areas. The damage to civilian infrastructure continues to be assessed.

### Problem with Intercepting Ballistics

In his statement, Zelenskyy noted that Ukrainian defenders are demonstrating high efficiency in fighting drones and cruise missiles. However, the situation regarding Russian ballistic missiles remains critical. The President pointed out that the main problem is the shortage of interceptor missiles necessary to neutralize such targets.

### Expecting Decisions from NATO

A key point in the President's appeal was the demand directed at Western partners, primarily the United States and European countries. Zelenskyy stated that as long as missiles for the 'Patriot' air defense systems remain on the shelves of allies, it effectively encourages Russia to continue destroying residential buildings.

The head of state is convinced that Western countries have sufficient resources and strength to stop this terror. He urged participants of the summit in Ankara to come forward with strong decisions that will ensure the protection of ordinary people's lives.
