# African heat in Ukraine: forecasters predict up to +38 degrees without a single drop of rain

Ukraine is expected to experience a sharp rise in temperatures. According to forecasts from the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, on Monday, June 29, most regions of the country will face intense heat. Moreover, meteorologists do not predict any precipitation, which will intensify the impact of high temperatures on the population.

### Regional weather specifics

The situation will vary across different parts of the country. In most areas of the Right Bank, the most extreme air heating is expected — up to +35...+38°C. Meanwhile, in the eastern part of the country, the figures will be somewhat milder: daytime temperatures will reach +25...+30°C, while at night the air will cool down to +14...+19°C.

In Kyiv and the Kyiv region, forecasters predict slight cloudiness. In the capital, the thermometer will rise to +32...+34°C during the day, and at night the air will warm up to +21...+23°C. In the region, daytime temperatures will be +30...+34°C, and nighttime temperatures will be +18...+23°C.

Events in Ukraine are unfolding against the backdrop of massive heat covering a significant part of Europe. In several countries on the continent, temperatures have already approached the +40°C mark. This is forcing authorities to introduce emergency measures to protect citizens.
