# Aleksandr Polozhynsky: 'It's Easier Alone' — 'Tartak' Frontman on Personal Life During War

Aleksandr Polozhynsky, the former frontman of the legendary band 'Tartak', joined the defense of Ukraine after the start of the full-scale war. The musician, known for his discretion regarding his personal life, made a rare exception and honestly spoke about whether there is room for love in his life.

### 'Not the time for this'

In an interview with the project 'Ranok u velykomu misti', cited by RBK-Ukraine, Polozhynsky admitted that his personal status has not changed — he is still single. According to the artist, today all his strength and attention are focused on his service, so he simply has no time or opportunity to build relationships.

'Nothing has changed. I am not exactly a die-hard bachelor. That's just how life goes... Now, when you are in the army, it's just not the time for this,' the musician noted.

### War-time priorities

Polozhynsky emphasized that being alone is actually easier right now. He pointed out that military personnel live in difficult conditions, and romance is not currently a priority for him.

'It's easier alone. You know that our military personnel are not the most well-off people. I am probably not at the age where I might suddenly be struck by crazy love. I am not ruling it out, but for now, there is no such love. I am not looking, I am not in the status of looking for a wife,' the singer shared.

### Personal life beyond rumors

Aleksandr Polozhynsky is 54 years old. Throughout this time, he has never been married and has always guarded his personal life from prying eyes. Despite rumors in different years linking him to famous Ukrainian singers, the artist himself has repeatedly denied these rumors.

The musician is not writing off his personal life. He says he cannot predict what will happen in the future and does not rule out the possibility of falling in love again. However, he is not consciously looking for a partner and has not set a goal to start a family, as all his thoughts today are linked to his service and other important matters.
