Former undisputed heavyweight world champion Alexander Usyk has shared insights into his future and his relationship with his wife. In a recent interview for the YouTube channel All Out Fighting, the 39-year-old Ukrainian revealed that his wife, Ekaterina, has set an important condition regarding his physical fitness after he retires from his professional career.

### The wife's main requirement

According to the boxer, Ekaterina Usyk values his athletic physique and wants to see her husband maintain it in civilian life as well. Alexander humorously quoted a conversation with his wife: "Right now you are in great shape and have a good physique. When you finish your career, just don't gain weight, because that is how you look best to me".

For Usyk, this is not just an aesthetic requirement. He noted that excess weight could interfere with his long-standing hobby — dancing. To maintain perfect form, the champion practices strict fasting days. On Saturdays, he completely abstains from food and sweet drinks, consuming only plain or mineral water, sometimes with a slice of lemon.

### From school days to a world title

The love story of Alexander and Ekaterina began back in Simferopol when they were teenagers. The future champion and his chosen one studied in parallel classes at School No. 34. At the time of their first meeting, Alexander was 15 years old, and Ekaterina was almost 14.

After six years of dating, the couple officially tied the knot on September 25, 2009. Today, the spouses are raising four children: daughters Elizaveta and Maria, as well as sons Kirill and Mikhail.

### The future of his career

Currently, Alexander Usyk has 25 wins with zero losses, 16 of which were by knockout. Previously, the boxer left the suspense regarding retirement after the fight with Deontay Wilder, however, the question of exactly when he will hang up his gloves remains open.
