Parliamentary elections in Armenia have concluded, with results that could radically alter the country's political landscape. According to preliminary data, the ruling party of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, "Civil Contract," takes first place with 32.7% of the vote. However, the key outcome of the voting is the unification of opposition forces, which collectively secured more than half of the votes.

### Opposition against the government

Four opposition parties, running as a single bloc, received 52.9% of the vote. This advantage potentially allows them to claim a majority of seats in the National Assembly—the country's supreme legislative body. Thus, despite Pashinyan's party leading in absolute figures, the gap with the nearest rival, the "Strong Armenia" party, is only 3.7%.

### Awaiting official results

As reported by RBC-Ukraine citing the Armenian agency News.am, the final election results will be announced by the Central Election Commission of Armenia only after the full count of all ballots. For now, preliminary data indicates high competition and the possibility of forming a new political balance in the country.

The elections in Armenia have become one of the most tense political events of the year, generating widespread interest both within the country and abroad. The voting results may determine not only the composition of parliament but also the future government, as well as the direction of Armenia's domestic and foreign policy for the coming years.
