Ukraine's logistics infrastructure continues to be a focal point for Russian military operations. On Friday, June 12, a powerful strike hit Zaporizhzhia: a Russian drone attacked a terminal of the operator "Nova Poshta," causing a massive fire.

### Consequences of the strike on Zaporizhzhia

Official information about the incident was confirmed by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration (RMA), Ivan Fedorov. In his statement, he noted that an enemy drone damaged the terminal building, after which a fire broke out. Fortunately, preliminary data indicates no casualties among the staff.

Representatives of "Nova Poshta" clarified the details of the incident: at the time of the attack, all employees were in shelters, so human casualties were avoided. The company promptly deployed backup logistics solutions to ensure continuity of operations. Currently, the delivery of shipments is proceeding in normal mode, without disruptions.

Rescuers from the State Emergency Service (SES) and law enforcement agencies are working at the scene. Specialists continue to assess the scale of the damage. Customers whose parcels may have been affected by the fire will be compensated for the estimated value of the lost shipments.

### Series of attacks on postal infrastructure

The incident in Zaporizhzhia is the latest in a series of incidents involving attacks on "Nova Poshta" facilities in June. Ukraine's logistics network is under systematic pressure, confirmed by a number of facts that have occurred in recent days:

    - **Kharkiv (night of June 8):** A Russian drone attacked a "Nova Poshta" depot. As a result of the strike, the building caught fire and partially collapsed. Fortunately, the facility was not operational at the time of the attack, so there were no casualties among the workers.

    - **Kyiv (June 5):** An explosion occurred at a sorting center in the Obolon district during the inspection of one of the parcels. The tragedy claimed one life, and two others were injured. Law enforcement agencies classified the incident as a terrorist act resulting in death and opened a criminal case.

    - **Dnipro (June 3 and 4):** The terminal in Dnipro was subjected to a double strike. On June 3, the facility was partially destroyed, but no one was hurt. The next day, June 4, a repeat attack led to a fire, resulting in injuries to eight people.

This series of attacks demonstrates that logistics hubs remain priority targets, creating serious challenges for the postal service and requiring a constant review of security measures.
