In Odesa, the Odesa Regional Administrative Court has ruled to ban the activities of the public organization 'Izmail Pushkin Society'. The court ordered the liquidation of the structure, which had been operating in the region for nearly 29 years. As a result of the proceedings, all property, funds, and assets of the organization are subject to transfer to the state budget.

According to the data provided, the society positioned itself as a structure dedicated to popularizing the works of Alexander Pushkin and Russian classical literature. In its work, the organization also focused on the study of Slavic culture in the Danube region. To attract young people and schoolchildren, the society operated a 'Club of Young Pushkinists'.

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) initiated an investigation into the society's activities. As a result of the investigation, the agency concluded that under the guise of literary events, the organization was actually promoting pro-Russian ideas. The case materials indicate that the society's activities contributed to inciting hatred against Ukraine. In wartime conditions, such actions were classified as a direct threat to the country's national security.
