Munich's Bayern dropped points in an away match of the fifth round of the German championship, playing a draw against Augsburg. The encounter was remembered not only for its fierce competition and numerous disallowed goals, but also for a historic milestone: the hosts shocked the giant of German football in the very first seconds of the match, setting an absolute scoring record in the German league.

### Historic Failure at the Start and Bundesliga Record

Already in the opening seconds of the fixture, goalkeeper and captain of the Munich team Manuel Neuer made a gross positional error while handling the ball. Augsburg forward Robin Fellhauer instantly capitalized on this gift, beating the goalkeeper and effortlessly sending the ball into the empty net. Official timing recorded the goal just 8.37 seconds after the starting whistle, officially making it the fastest goal in the history of the German Bundesliga.

### Incredible Drama and Disallowed Goals

Finding themselves trailing, the reigning league leaders rushed to equalize, creating numerous threats near the opponent's goal. The coaching staff's charges dominated the pitch, yet encountered incredible resistance and intervention from the video assistant referee (VAR) system. Throughout the match, the referees disallowed four goals scored by the Munich club due to offside positions. Nevertheless, in the second half, accurate strikes by Ismael Saibari and substitute Nathaniel Brown allowed Munich to level the score twice.

### Match Results and Current Standings

The hosts also did not sit back in defense and took the lead through Rodrigo Ribeiro, but the tournament's underdog failed to hold onto the winning score. In added time, Serge Gnabry attempted to snatch a victory for Bayern, but this goal was also correctly annulled by the referees for offside. As a result, Bayern loses championship points for the second time this season, holding 11 points after five played rounds.
