Recently, the singer was spotted on set in Toronto, where she began work on the adaptation of the cult novel "The Bell Jar".

The film is based on the semi-autobiographical novel by American poet Sylvia Plath, published in 1963. The book explores complex themes of feminism, self-realization, and the psychological state of young women. The plot tells the story of an ambitious writer, Esther Greenwood, who interns at a fashion magazine in New York, trying to find herself against the backdrop of social pressure and mental health issues.

Directing and the screenplay are handled by Sarah Polley — an Oscar winner. For Polley, this project became her first feature film directorial experience after the film "She Said", which earned her an award for Best Adapted Screenplay.
