## Key Points

- Blogger Yuna (@yunabugs) showcased dachshunds in Dune sandworm costumes filmed on sand dunes.
- The brown-sandy outfits with round mouths and rows of decorative teeth were crafted by @shidas_wasabi.
- Yuna runs The Weens and regularly involves dachshunds in costume shoots, including 2023 Halloween looks.

Million-follower influencer Yuna, known on social media as @yunabugs, has published a video featuring her dachshunds dressed in sandworm costumes from the Dune universe. For the shoot, the dogs were taken to sand dunes, where in their unusual outfits they resemble miniature residents of the desert planet Arrakis. In the caption, the author wrote: "Obsessed with my little army of sandworms," tagging the official @dunemovie account and noting that the costumes were crafted by artisan @shidas_wasabi.

### Costumes with Round Mouths and Rows of Teeth

The main detail of the outfits is bulky brown-sandy structures replicating the appearance of sandworms. Their central element is large, round mouths with rows of decorative teeth, which served as the basis for the costumes. In the frame, the dachshunds run across the sand while their snouts and short legs peek out from under the oversized outfits, creating a comical contrast between the screen giants and real miniature pets.

### Filming Among Sandy Slopes

The shooting location reinforces the reference to the desert world of Dune: sandy slopes are visible in the background, complementing the overall style of the frame. Short legs and dog snouts peeking out from the large structures turn the formidable inhabitants of Arrakis into amusing domestic pets while retaining the recognizable silhouette of the fantastic creatures.

### The Weens: A Page About Life with Dachshunds

Yuna runs The Weens pages dedicated to life with her beloved pets. She regularly publishes videos featuring dachshunds and involves them in costume shoots. Notably, back in 2023, the blogger hosted a Halloween dinner for the dogs where they tried on bee, red devil, teddy bear, taco, and banana outfits. For another shoot, Yuna transformed into Cruella de Vil while her dachshunds appeared as dalmatians. She has also shown how she makes pumpkin headwear for her pets.

### Reference to the Dune Universe

Sandworms are massive creatures from the Dune universe that inhabit the desert planet Arrakis. It is their round mouths with numerous teeth that formed the basis for the dogs' looks in this video. The large structures around the small dachshunds create an amusing effect: the screen giants have acquired short legs and dog snouts, turning into a "little army" admired by the author herself.
