On the morning of July 4, Ukraine's energy infrastructure was struck again. Russian drones attacked a gas production facility of the "Naftogaz Group" located in the Poltava region. As a result of the attack, a fire broke out on the enterprise's territory, and operations were completely halted.

### Situation at the Facility

According to the Naftogaz press service, the attack occurred in the early morning hours. Enemy drones struck one of the company's key assets. At present, specialists are assessing the scale of the damage, but it is already known that gas production at this site has ceased.

The company emphasized that all employees of the enterprise were evacuated to shelters in a timely manner. There were no casualties among the staff; no human lives were lost.

### Systematic Attack on Production

Representatives of Naftogaz noted that this is not the first attack on this facility. "The enemy is systematically striking gas production, trying to reduce Ukraine's output and complicate preparations for the heating season," the press service stated.

The attack in the Poltava region was part of a massive wave of strikes that began on the night of July 4. During that period, Russia used an Iskander-M ballistic missile, an Kh-59/69 air-to-surface missile, and 86 strike drones against Ukraine. Air defense forces managed to shoot down most of the targets; however, impacts were recorded at 16 locations, as well as the fall of debris from downed equipment.

### Other Consequences of the Strikes

On the evening of July 3, Russian forces also struck other regions. In the Odesa region, civilian infrastructure was attacked: a fire broke out in a warehouse complex storing food products due to a missile hit. The fire spread to adjacent rooms, causing significant damage.

A massive strike on Sumy was also noted separately, where the enemy used a large number of drones and guided air bombs. As a result of the attack, destruction occurred in the city, and there is information about casualties and fatalities among the civilian population.
