## 🎯 Key Points

- The Ukrainian delegation led by Kyrylo Budanov has arrived in the USA.
- The delegation includes David Arakhamia, Rustem Umerov, and Serhiy Kyslytsya.
- Discussions focus on prospects for an energy truce and diplomatic settlement.

The Ukrainian negotiation delegation has embarked on an official visit to the United States of America to hold a series of key consultations and meetings with American partners. This was announced by the Head of the President's Office, Kyrylo Budanov, emphasizing the importance of continuing diplomatic efforts to achieve a sustainable and just peace.

### Objectives of the visit and delegation composition

According to official information, the Ukrainian delegation includes influential political and security figures, notably David Arakhamia, the head of the Servant of the People faction; Rustem Umerov, the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service; Kyrylo Budanov, the Head of the Presidential Office; and Serhiy Kyslytsya, the First Deputy Head of the Presidential Office. Such a high-level representation highlights the strategic nature of the upcoming talks in Washington.

### Diplomatic context and energy truce

This visit takes place against the backdrop of active discussions regarding potential formats for a ceasefire and diplomatic settlement. According to diplomatic sources, the United States continues to promote the idea of organizing a trilateral meeting involving representatives of Ukraine and the Russian Federation to discuss a potential energy truce, with Abu Dhabi being considered as a possible venue.

### Contradictory data

Despite active diplomatic efforts by Ukraine and Washington, the negotiation process faces serious obstacles. On the one hand, the Ukrainian leadership declares its readiness to work towards a fair peace and conduct necessary consultations. On the other hand, reports indicate that the Russian side cynically rejects real opportunities to end the war through diplomatic means, even with US mediation, which casts doubt on the effectiveness of future trilateral initiatives.

### Prospects of the negotiation process

Commenting on the trip, Kyrylo Budanov noted that real peace is not achieved through loud statements, but requires hard and joint daily work. The Ukrainian authorities call on the international community to remain united and continue supporting the Ukrainian military, emphasizing that diplomacy must rely on a strong position on the battlefield.
