The intensification of Russian attacks on Ukrainian gas stations has become a serious challenge for the country, yet the situation in Kyiv remains under control. This was stated by Kirill Budanov, Head of the President's Office, in an exclusive interview with RBC-Ukraine.

### Focus on frontline regions

The Head of the Presidential Office reminded that in recent years, Russia has constantly intensified strikes on Ukrainian territory. In the case of fuel infrastructure, the enemy is specifically targeting frontline regions.

"This is a huge problem, but we will solve it," Budanov assured.

### No crisis in the capital

Budanov paid special attention to the situation in Kyiv. He urged the capital's residents not to fear a fuel shortage.

"I see no signs of this," noted the Head of the President's Office, confirming that there are no prerequisites for a fuel crisis in the city.

### Consequences of strikes and partners' reaction

Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported on specific incidents confirming the enemy's new tactics. The Russian army struck gas stations in Zaporizhzhia. According to the latest data, two people were killed and nine were injured as a result of the attack.

An attack on a SOCAR gas station in the Mykolaiv region was also recorded. Against this backdrop, Azerbaijan demanded official explanations from Moscow.

### Warnings from local authorities

The situation on the ground requires vigilance. Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov warned citizens that gas stations have indeed become targets for Russian strikes. The official also explained to residents how to act in the current situation to ensure their own safety.
