# Business sets conditions for the new government: 10 priorities from EBA

Ukrainian business has formulated a clear list of demands for the authorities. The European Business Association (EBA) has published ten priorities, the implementation of which will become the main criterion for entrepreneurs to evaluate the work of the new government. The document, based on surveys of company executives, sets the vector for economic reforms in 2026.

### Key requests from entrepreneurs

According to a survey conducted among Association members, business expects specific actions from the authorities in the fight against corruption and the conduct of judicial reform. Entrepreneurs insist on the need to deregulate the economy to reduce administrative barriers for commercial activity.

Special attention in the list of demands is paid to accelerating European integration. The EBA emphasizes that membership in the European Union has become a priority not only for society but also for companies that view Ukraine as an investment platform.

### Dialogue between power and the economy

The Association has proposed ten priority areas of work for the government. The key principle of interaction should be mandatory consultation with business before making economic decisions. Experts insist that any new regulation must undergo an assessment of its impact on entrepreneurs.

EBA Executive Director Anna Derevyanko stated the business's readiness for active cooperation. According to her, the success of the new cabinet of ministers in the eyes of business circles will directly depend on progress in implementing the declared priorities.

### Challenges of wartime

In the conditions of the ongoing war, the government will need balance, predictability, and efficiency. Derevyanko noted that one of the key tasks at the moment is preparing the country for the next winter. Business is ready to make its contribution so that this period passes more easily than the previous one.

The European Business Association intends to continue providing expert support to the state, participating in the preparation of decisions aimed at economic development and advancing Ukraine on the path to EU membership.
