They will not be required to take the National Multidisciplinary Test (NMT). This was reported by RBK-Ukraine, citing the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. ### Special program for paramedics The Ministry of Health reminded that a special program for admission to bachelor's studies in the specialty "Emergency Medicine" with the qualification of "paramedic" continues to be in effect for combat medics. Education is fully funded by the state or regional budget. The admission interview can be taken online. According to the department, 350 military personnel already took advantage of this opportunity last year. Participants in the program can enter bachelor's studies in the specialty "Nursing", specialization "Emergency Medicine". Upon completion of their studies, graduates will receive a bachelor's diploma and the qualification of a paramedic. ### Professional education without leaving service Also, for active combat medics, a program of professional pre-higher education is available. Upon its completion, graduates will receive a diploma of professional junior bachelor in the specialty "Nursing" under the educational program "Nursing". Education is organized in such a way that it can be combined with service. For bachelor's programs, correspondence or distance forms of study are available, and for obtaining professional pre-higher education β€” correspondence format. ### Key dates and admission conditions To be admitted, it is sufficient to pass an interview. Participants in hostilities are not required to take the NMT. Registration of electronic applicant cabinets will begin on July 1, 2026. Applications to take the interview can be submitted from July 3 to 10, and the interviews themselves will take place from July 8 to 19. Acceptance of applications for admission will begin on July 19 and will last until August 1. Applicants must meet the requirements for enrollment by August 11. ### Educational institutions and document submission Ten educational institutions are participating in the program. Documents can be submitted through the electronic applicant cabinet or directly to the admissions committee of the chosen educational institution. Previously, RBK-Ukraine reported that members of the Ukrainian Naval Forces can receive secondary, professional, or higher education without leaving service. Education is conducted online on a flexible schedule, and admission to budget places is possible through a simplified procedure without the NMT. Also, family members of military personnel may have the right to free education under certain conditions.
