During the PlayStation State of Play presentation, Finnish studio Remedy Entertainment officially unveiled Control Resonant — an ambitious sequel to the cult supernatural action game. The developers revealed the release date, showcased a new gameplay trailer, and opened pre-orders on all current platforms.

### Remedy's Most Ambitious Project Ever

The studio's Commercial Director, Johannes Palohiimo, described Control Resonant as the most complex and ambitious product in the company's history. According to him, the game will offer numerous plot twists that will interest both long-time fans of the universe and newcomers encountering the world of the Bureau for the first time.

### Price and Regional Specifics

Despite the 2026 trend of setting AAA blockbuster prices at $70, Remedy demonstrated loyalty to players. In the Ukrainian segment of the Steam store, PC pre-orders are already available for 1600 UAH.

At the same time, the company has completely blocked the ability to purchase the game in the Russian region: the project's page is simply missing from local stores.

### Release Date and Exclusives

The global release of the mystical action game is scheduled for September 24. However, PlayStation 5 console owners have received a privilege: those who purchase the expanded digital edition will get 48 hours of early access and can start playing two days before other players.

Xbox Series X/S and PC users will have to wait for the official launch day.

### Ukrainian Language: From Fan Translation to Official Localization

One of the key moments of the presentation was the confirmation of an official Ukrainian translation in Control Resonant. This is a significant step for the studio, considering that the original first part of Control, released in 2019, did not include the Ukrainian language.

At that time, the situation was saved by the enthusiast community: a player with the nickname zhurba independently created a massive unofficial translation, adapting about 140,000 words of text. His work was comparable in quality to the official localization of Alan Wake 2. Now Remedy has proven that they hear the requests of Ukrainian fans and value the community's contribution.
