# Crimea in flames: massive drone attack on 'Caucasus' port, oil depots, and the bridge

The night of June 23 became a time of unprecedented tension for Crimea. The peninsula was subjected to a large-scale attack by unmanned aerial vehicles, resulting in damage to key strategic infrastructure objects. According to the 'Crimean Wind' monitoring group, confirmed by satellite imagery, multiple fires broke out in the region.

### Targets of the strike: from ports to railway hubs

Among the main targets of the attack was the 'Caucasus' seaport. During the raid, a fire broke out on the port territory, engulfing the oil depot. Footage of burning tanks and infrastructure has already spread across social media, demonstrating the scale of the damage inflicted.

Alongside the port, other critical logistics and energy points were also hit:

- A fire broke out at the 'Nasosnaya-2' substation in the Sovetsky district.

- The TES-Terminal oil products storage complex was subjected to a massive shelling.

- A fire was recorded at the entrance to Kerch.

- Fire engulfed objects at the 'Yuzhnaya' railway station in the city itself.

- Areas near the settlement of Bagerovo were damaged.

### Threat to the Crimean Bridge

Particular attention was drawn to the Crimean Bridge during the raid. Due to the threat of a drone attack, traffic across the crossing was blocked. The situation around the bridge remains extremely tense, as it is a strategically important link for the peninsula.

### Consequences for the population

The result of the night operation was not only physical destruction but also serious domestic problems for residents. Cities and settlements were left without electricity. Local residents report the continuous sound of air raid sirens, are forced to seek safe shelters, and are considering the possibility of temporarily relocating to calmer regions.

This event became a continuation of a series of strikes on occupied Crimea. Just a few days ago, on the night of June 20, the UAV Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully struck four gas compressor stations (GCS), which further destabilized the energy situation on the peninsula.
