In the morning of August 3, the Ukrainian foreign exchange market recorded divergent trends: the US dollar continues to slowly decline, while the euro demonstrates growth. The difference between buying and selling rates in banks and exchange offices remains significant, which is important to consider when planning financial transactions.

### Average market indicators

According to data from Tuesday morning, the average selling rate for the dollar in banking institutions dropped by 2 kopecks to 44.96 hryvnias. In exchange offices, the currency also lost value, settling at 44.85 hryvnias for the purchase. Experts note that the decline is insignificant, but the trend persists.

The situation with the euro is different. In banks, the buying rate for the European currency rose by 9–10 kopecks, reaching 51.76 hryvnias. In exchange offices, the increase was 5 kopecks, bringing the cost to 51.65 hryvnias.

### Rates in the largest banks

Market leaders have adjusted their rates in accordance with the general trend:

- **PrivatBank:** Cash dollar sales in tellers — 44.85 UAH (decrease of 10 kopecks), for cards — 44.84 UAH (decrease of 20 kopecks). The euro in branches costs 51.90 UAH (+10 kopecks), and via cards — 51.81 UAH (unchanged).

- **Oschadbank:** In the mobile app, the dollar is offered at 44.90 UAH (-5 kopecks), for cards the rate is higher — 45.00 UAH (-10 kopecks). Euro via app — 51.75 UAH (-5 kopecks), by card — 51.90 UAH (-5 kopecks).

- **PUMB:** In tellers, the dollar is sold unchanged — 45.10 UAH, by card — 44.90 UAH (-10 kopecks). The euro in branches dropped by 10 kopecks to 51.90 UAH.

- **Monobank:** The dollar rate decreased by 15 kopecks and stands at 44.83 UAH. The euro remained at the previous level — 51.80 UAH.

### How much does 100 dollars cost?

Acquiring 100 US dollars today will cost the buyer differently depending on the chosen bank:

- In PrivatBank (cash) — 4485 UAH;

- In Oschadbank (app) — 4490 UAH;

- In PUMB (cash) — 4510 UAH;

- In Monobank — 4483 UAH.

Thus, the difference in the cost of buying 100 dollars between the cheapest and the most expensive option is about 27 hryvnias.

We remind you that the currency rate in Ukraine depends on many factors, including the state of the economy, the geopolitical situation, and decisions by the National Bank. Regular monitoring of rates helps citizens and businesses make more balanced financial decisions.
