On July 22, the Ukrainian currency market observed divergent dynamics for major currencies. The US dollar demonstrated a steady, albeit slight, increase, while the euro showed signs of weakening. The difference between buying and selling rates in various financial institutions allows one to find the most favorable conditions for exchange.

### Average market indicators

According to the Minfin portal, in the morning of July 22, the average cost of the dollar in exchange offices was 44.75 hryvnias for buying and 44.65 hryvnias for selling. The rate increased by 1 and 2 kopecks respectively compared to previous figures. Conversely, the euro in exchange offices became cheaper: buying was possible at 51.35 hryvnias (a drop of 3 kopecks), and selling at 51.15 hryvnias (a drop of 5 kopecks).

### Dynamics in the banking sector

Trends are maintained in the banking sector. The average buying rate for the dollar in banks rose to 44.96 hryvnias (+5 kopecks), and the selling rate to 44.49 hryvnias (+6 kopecks). The euro in banks is more expensive than in exchange offices: buying is offered at 51.42 hryvnias (+6 kopecks), and selling at 50.78 hryvnias (-5 kopecks).

### Rates in leading banks

The country's largest financial institutions demonstrate the following picture:

    - **PrivatBank:** The sale of cash dollars in tellers was fixed at 44.90 hryvnias (unchanged). The card rate price is 45.04 hryvnias (+4 kopecks). The euro in the teller costs 51.45 hryvnias, and by card — 51.54 hryvnias (unchanged).

    - **Oschadbank:** In the mobile app, the dollar is offered at 44.90 hryvnias, and by card — exactly 45 hryvnias (unchanged). The euro in the app dropped to 51.45 hryvnias (-5 kopecks), and by card rate it costs 51.65 hryvnias.

    - **PUMB:** The rate for selling cash dollars in tellers rose to 45.10 hryvnias (+10 kopecks). By card rate, the price is 44.90 hryvnias (+10 kopecks). The euro in the bank's tellers is sold at 51.70 hryvnias.

    - **Monobank:** The bank updated the dollar rate to 44.90 hryvnias (+10 kopecks), and the euro to 51.50 hryvnias (+3 kopecks).

### Where is it more profitable to buy currency?

For those wishing to exchange 100 dollars, the price difference can amount to up to 35 hryvnias depending on the chosen location. The lowest price for buying cash dollars was recorded in exchange offices — 4,475 hryvnias for a hundred. Among banks, the most favorable conditions are offered by PrivatBank, Oschadbank (in the app), and Monobank, where 100 dollars will cost 4,490 hryvnias. In PUMB tellers, the rate is higher — 4,510 hryvnias for 100 dollars.

Thus, in the morning of July 22, the dollar is strengthening, while the euro is losing ground. When choosing a place for exchange, it is worth considering the difference between teller and card rates, as well as average market indicators.
