# Dollar Holds Steady at 45 Hryvnias: Current Exchange Rates in Ukrainian Banks on July 24

The Ukrainian financial market is showing signs of stabilization: as of Friday morning, July 24, the average selling rate for the US dollar in banks continues to hold at the psychologically important mark of 45 hryvnias. While the rate of the "greenback" shows a slight increase, the euro demonstrates a trend of weakening.

### Situation in the Interbank Market and Exchange Points

According to data from the Minfin portal, on the currency exchange, the dollar rate is fixed at 44.86 hryvnias for purchase and 44.75 hryvnias for sale. The euro in exchange points can be purchased at a rate of 51.35 hryvnias, and sold for 51.15 hryvnias. Compared to previous figures, the European currency has dropped by a few kopecks.

### Rates in Major Banks

In the retail sector, banking institutions offer the following conditions for clients:

    - **PrivatBank:** Selling cash dollars in tellers costs 44.99 hryvnias (unchanged), while for card operations — 45.04 hryvnias. The euro in branches is offered at 51.45 hryvnias (a decrease of 15 kopecks), and for cards — 51.54 hryvnias.

    - **Oschadbank:** In the mobile app, the dollar is sold for 44.95 hryvnias, and for cards — 45.05 hryvnias. The euro via the app is available at 51.45 hryvnias, and for card operations — at 51.65 hryvnias.

    - **PUMB:** In tellers, the dollar is offered at 45.20 hryvnias, and for cards, the rate was exactly 45 hryvnias (an increase of 10 kopecks). The euro in branches costs 51.70 hryvnias.

    - **Monobank:** The online bank raised the dollar selling rate to 45.03 hryvnias (+3 kopecks), while the euro dropped to 51.45 hryvnias (-7 kopecks).

### How much does buying currency cost?

For those planning an exchange, the following information is relevant: the average cost of buying 100 dollars in banks today is approximately 4506 hryvnias. At the same time, some individual banks have increased the cost of the dollar by a few kopecks, however, the overall market picture remains stable.
