# Dollar and Euro are weakening: current buying and selling rates in Ukrainian banks on July 9

The trend of gradual decline in the value of the US dollar and the euro continues in the Ukrainian currency market. While banks and exchange points adjust their quotes, the national currency — the hryvnia — is steadily holding its ground.

As of the morning of July 9, according to data from the Minfin portal, the US dollar can be bought at an average rate of 44.56 hryvnias (an increase of 1 kopeck), and sold for 44.47 hryvnias (an increase of 5 kopecks). The euro shows the opposite trend: it is sold on average for 51.15 hryvnias (a decrease of 5 kopecks), and bought for 50.95 hryvnias without change.

### Rates in the largest banks

Leading financial institutions in the country are also recording fluctuations in exchange rates, offering clients various conditions for cash and non-cash transactions.

**PrivatBank** sells the dollar at its branches at an unchanged rate of 44.70 hryvnias, while via bank cards — for 44.84 hryvnias. The euro in cash desks costs 51.25 hryvnias, and when paying by card — 51.28 hryvnias.

**Oschadbank** offers the following conditions via the "Mobile Oschad" app: the dollar is sold for 44.65 hryvnias (an increase of 10 kopecks), while the rate for cards has dropped to 44.80 hryvnias (by 5 kopecks). The euro in the app has risen to 51.10 hryvnias (+10 kopecks), while the rate for cards is 51.30 hryvnias (-10 kopecks).

At **PUMB**, the dollar is sold in cash desks for 44.90 hryvnias without change, while the commercial rate has dropped to 44.70 hryvnias (-10 kopecks). The euro in the bank's branches can be purchased for 51.40 hryvnias.

**Monobank** continues to lower the cost of foreign currency: the dollar is offered for 44.63 hryvnias (-17 kopecks), and the euro — for 51.20 hryvnias (-6 kopecks).

An analysis of offers allows us to identify the most profitable options for currency operations at the current moment.

The lowest selling rate for the dollar among banks is recorded in "Mobile Oschad" — 44.65 hryvnias. This is followed by PrivatBank and PUMB (commercial rate) at 44.70 hryvnias, as well as Monobank with a rate of 44.63 hryvnias. In PUMB cash desks, the dollar is the most expensive — 44.90 hryvnias.

As for the euro, Oschadbank sells it cheapest via the mobile app — 51.10 hryvnias. In Monobank, the rate is 51.20 hryvnias, in PrivatBank — 51.25 hryvnias, and in PUMB — 51.40 hryvnias.

For those who want to sell currency, the best offers for the dollar are made by Monobank and PUMB (commercial rate) — 44.40 hryvnias. They are followed by "Mobile Oschad" (44.35 UAH) and PrivatBank (44.10 UAH). It is most profitable to sell the euro at PUMB at a rate of 50.70 hryvnias, followed by Oschadbank and Monobank (50.60 UAH) and PrivatBank (50.25 UAH).
