# Currency rates on June 25: the dollar holds steady, the euro continues to fall — best bank offers

The Ukrainian currency market on Wednesday, June 25, demonstrates relative stability. The US dollar has practically not changed its value, while the euro continued the downward trend both in exchange offices and in most banking institutions.

### Average market indicators

According to Minfin, the average dollar rate in exchange offices remained unchanged: buying is offered at 44.95 hryvnias, selling — at 44.85 hryvnias. The euro, however, continues to depreciate: the average buying rate dropped to 51.45 hryvnias (minus 20 kopecks), and selling — to 51.20 hryvnias (also minus 20 kopecks).

The situation in the banking sector is similar. The average dollar buying rate was 44.63 hryvnias (unchanged), selling — 45.11 hryvnias (a decrease of 1 kopeck). Banks buy the euro on average at 50.84 hryvnias (minus 5 kopecks), and sell it at 51.65 hryvnias (minus 18 kopecks).

### Offers from major banks

The dollar in most major banks has hardly changed. At the same time, the euro continued to fall, and some banks significantly revised their selling rates.

**PrivatBank** sells the dollar in branches at 45.00 hryvnias (unchanged). The card rate is 45.04 hryvnias. The euro in branches costs 51.35 hryvnias (a decrease of 15 kopecks), and the card rate is 51.28 hryvnias (minus 26 kopecks).

**Oschadbank** sells the dollar in the app at 45.05 hryvnias (a decrease of 15 kopecks), and for card operations — at 45.15 hryvnias (an increase of 5 kopecks). The euro in "Mobile Oschad" costs 51.35 hryvnias (a decrease of 40 kopecks), and the card rate is 51.45 hryvnias (minus 15 kopecks).

**PUMB** sells the dollar at the commercial rate at 45.10 hryvnias (unchanged), and in cash desks — at 45.30 hryvnias. The euro in branches costs 51.80 hryvnias (a decrease of 20 kopecks).

**Monobank** sells the dollar at 45.04 hryvnias (unchanged). The buying rate is 44.60 hryvnias. The bank sells the euro at 51.27 hryvnias (a decrease of 26 kopecks), and buys it at 50.65 hryvnias (minus 18 kopecks).

### Where is it more profitable to buy or sell currency?

**Buying the dollar:** the cheapest American currency today is sold by PrivatBank — 45.00 hryvnias. In Monobank, the dollar costs 45.04 hryvnias, in PUMB (commercial rate) — 45.10 hryvnias, and in Oschadbank — 45.05 hryvnias in "Mobile Oschad".

**Buying the euro:** the cheapest European currency can be bought in Monobank — 51.27 hryvnias. In PrivatBank branches, the rate is 51.35 hryvnias, in Oschadbank in "Mobile Oschad" — 51.35 hryvnias, card rate — 51.45 hryvnias, and in PUMB — 51.80 hryvnias.

**Selling the dollar:** the best dollar buying rate today is offered by PUMB at the commercial rate — 44.80 hryvnias. In Oschadbank, currency is bought at 44.70 hryvnias, in Monobank — at 44.60 hryvnias, in PrivatBank — at 44.55 hryvnias.

**Selling the euro:** it is most profitable to sell the euro today also in PUMB — at 51.10 hryvnias. In Oschadbank, the buying rate is 50.75 hryvnias, in Monobank — 50.65 hryvnias, and in PrivatBank — 50.62 hryvnias.
