The Romanian automaker Dacia, part of the French Renault Group, has officially unveiled its new C-segment model — the Striker crossover wagon. The premiere took place on July 8, 2026. The vehicle is positioned as a versatile solution, combining the spaciousness of a wagon, the off-road capability of a crossover, and the dynamics of a sedan. Order taking is scheduled to begin in early 2027, with a starting price in Europe of less than €25,000.

### Platform and Production

The new model is built on the global RGMP Small modular architecture — an upgraded version of the CMF-B platform, already used for the Duster and Bigster crossovers. Production is set up at the Oyak-Renault plant in Bursa, Turkey. In terms of dimensions, the Striker exceeds the Bigster model, forming a separate sub-class within the brand's lineup.

### Dimensions and Aerodynamics

The body length is 4,620 mm, width — 1,824 mm, and height ranges from 1,525 to 1,541 mm depending on the trim level. The wheelbase is 2,704 mm. Ground clearance is 190 mm for front-wheel-drive versions and 200 mm for all-wheel-drive models. The aerodynamic drag coefficient (Cx) is 0.29.

The Striker's exterior features new T-shaped LED lighting at the front and rear. Body elements are protected by cladding made from the patented composite polymer Starkle®, which contains recycled components. In total, the car's construction uses at least 47 kg of eco-friendly and recycled plastics.

### Powertrains

As part of the brand's strategy until 2030, aimed at increasing the C-segment's share of sales from 20% to 33%, three electrified powertrains have been developed for the Striker. Diesel engines have been completely excluded from the lineup.

- **Mild Hybrid-G 140**: A 1.2-liter three-cylinder turbo engine producing 140 hp, running on gasoline or liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). Paired with a 48-volt starter-generator. Transmission — 6-speed manual or dual-clutch robot. Drive — front-wheel only.

- **Hybrid 155**: 1.8-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine (109 hp) + electric motor (49 hp) + starter-generator. Total power — 155 hp. Transmission — 4-speed automatic, battery — 1.4 kWh.

- **Hybrid 150 4x4**: Flagship version with intelligent all-wheel drive. Front axle — 1.2-liter turbo engine (140 hp) + 48-volt generator + 6-speed robot. Rear axle — 31 hp electric motor with a two-speed gearbox and 0.84 kWh battery. The all-wheel-drive system operates up to 140 km/h. Modes available: Snow, Mud/Sand, Off-Road.

### Safety According to UNECE Regulations

In accordance with European Union requirements and UNECE regulations, all Dacia Striker modifications are equipped with a comprehensive ADAS active safety package. This includes automatic emergency braking while reversing and a safe passenger exit monitoring system.
