Applicants planning to enroll in Ukraine's military educational institutions in 2026 have been granted additional time to submit their documents. The Ministry of Defense has officially revised the admission schedule, extending the submission deadline by one month. The new deadline is July 1.

This decision to extend the deadlines was made in consideration of the current martial law conditions. The Ministry of Defense press service emphasized that this measure aims to give applicants more time to prepare and submit the necessary materials.

### Who is affected by the changes

The updated schedule applies to applicants planning to obtain the following educational degrees based on complete general secondary education:

    - Professional Junior Bachelor;

    - Bachelor;

    - Master (Veterinary track).

According to the ministry, extending the deadlines will help applicants prepare more thoroughly for entrance exams and avoid rushing when gathering documents.

### Where to find current information

The official website of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has already published a special Guide for Applicants for 2026. The document contains a full list of training directions, as well as a step-by-step algorithm for admission to military colleges, higher military educational institutions (HMEI), and military training points (MTP) of the Armed Forces.

Previously, the Ministry of Defense clarified admission details for applicants, including a list of available specialties and social benefits for cadets. Instructions on how to combine military service and a civilian career within a single educational process were also published.
