On the night of June 6, the Defense Forces of Ukraine carried out large-scale strikes against strategic enemy targets on Russian territory and in the combat zone. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, critically important energy and military facilities in the Leningrad region, as well as command posts and warehouses in border regions, were hit.

### Strikes on oil depots in the Leningrad region

The main direction of the attack was the northwestern region of Russia. On June 5 and the night of June 6, Ukrainian units struck two key facilities in the city of Lomonosov. The first target was the "Petergofskaya" oil depot. Direct hits, powerful explosions, and subsequent fires were recorded at the facility.

The second target was the "Neste" oil terminal, located in the same city. A major fire broke out in the area of the terminal; precise damage results are being clarified. The General Staff emphasizes the strategic importance of this object: the terminal is a hub for the distribution of refined petroleum products (gasoline and diesel fuel) in the northwestern region of Russia. The simultaneous storage capacity of the facility is 40,000 cubic meters.

### Strike on a missile arsenal

Significant damage was also inflicted on the enemy's military stockpiles. The target was an arsenal of the missile weapons, ammunition, and military property storage complex of the 1060th Material and Technical Support Center. The facility is located in the settlement of Bolshaya Izhora in the Leningrad region. Explosions, secondary detonations, and a strong fire were recorded at the site.

### Strikes in the combat zone and border areas

Parallel to the strikes on rear facilities, Ukrainian military forces hit a number of targets directly in the combat zone and in the border regions of Russia:

    - A command and observation post of a Russian unit in the Malinovka area (Belgorod region).

    - A material and technical supplies warehouse in the Karachino area (Luhansk region).

    - Enemy drone control points.

Strikes were also carried out on areas of concentration of the occupiers' personnel. Positions near Pokrovsk and Rodinsky (Donetsk region), Petropavlivka (Kharkiv region), as well as Tyotkino and Anatolievka (Kursk region, RF) came under fire.

### Context of night operations

These events continued a series of large-scale operations. It was previously reported that on the night of June 6, drones of the Special Operations Forces hit the "Kronstadt" base of the Russian Baltic Fleet near St. Petersburg. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed that the drones covered a distance of about 1,000 km to carry out this task.

Subsequently, the SBU revealed details of a joint operation with the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Main Directorate of Intelligence, during which the 15th Russian Navy arsenal in the Leningrad region and the "Ust-Labinsk" oil depot in the Krasnodar Krai were also hit. At least three fuel tanks caught fire at the latter.
