The Ukrainian fuel market is ending the week with a new wave of price increases. On the morning of July 26, gas station operators simultaneously raised the cost of diesel fuel. This serves as another signal for car owners and logistics companies, whose fuel expenses continue to grow.

### Synchronized increase in diesel prices

A sharp spike in diesel fuel prices was recorded almost simultaneously across the country. Major networks, such as Ukrnafta, WOG, OKKO, and SOCAR, adjusted their price lists almost overnight. Experts note that such synchronized actions by operators indicate a unified market trend dictated by global factors and changes in raw material costs.

### Situation in networks

As of Tuesday morning, the current cost of gasoline, diesel, and gas in the largest networks is as follows:

- **WOG:** The market leader was the first to react to the changes, raising diesel prices at all its stations.

- **Ukrnafta:** The state operator also updated its tariffs, affecting both diesel and certain grades of gasoline.

- **OKKO and SOCAR:** Private networks did not stay on the sidelines and synchronized their prices with the current market situation.

It is important to note that the cost of liquefied gas (propane-butane) also underwent changes, although on a smaller scale compared to diesel.

### What's next?

The rise in diesel prices against the backdrop of the end of the work week is creating tension in the market. For many Ukrainians, especially owners of commercial vehicles and private cars, this means a significant increase in travel expenses. Gas station operators have not yet provided forecasts for the coming week, however, the current dynamics suggest that price stabilization may take some more time.
