In the morning of July 16, a clear trend of declining rates for major foreign currencies was observed in the Ukrainian currency market. Both the US dollar and the euro have become more affordable for citizens: purchase prices have dropped in both exchange offices and bank branches. For those planning to buy cash, this could be an opportunity to save money.

### Market Situation: Minfin Data

According to the Minfin portal, the average rates in exchange offices on Tuesday morning are as follows. The average purchase price of the dollar was 44.74 hryvnias, which is 11 kopecks lower than the previous values. You can sell currency at a rate of 44.62 hryvnias per dollar (a decrease of 12 kopecks).

The euro has also become cheaper. The average purchase price in exchange offices is 51.37 hryvnias (minus 13 kopecks), and the selling rate is 51.20 hryvnias (a decrease of 5 kopecks).

### Bank Rates: Where is it more profitable?

In the banking sector, the dynamics are also positive for currency buyers. The average purchase rate for the dollar in banks dropped to 45 hryvnias (minus 4 kopecks), and the selling rate dropped to 44.51 hryvnias (minus 3 kopecks). On average, the euro can be bought for 51.52 hryvnias (a decrease of 10 kopecks), while the selling rate remained unchanged at 50.86 hryvnias.

The specifics of rates in specific financial institutions are as follows:

    - **PrivatBank:** Selling cash dollars in tellers — 44.95 hryvnias (decrease of 10 kopecks), via cards — 45.04 hryvnias (unchanged). Euros in tellers cost 51.50 hryvnias (minus 10 kopecks), via cards — 51.54 hryvnias (decrease of 27 kopecks).

    - **Oschadbank:** In the mobile app, dollars are sold for 44.90 hryvnias (minus 15 kopecks), for cards the rate is 45.05 hryvnias (minus 10 kopecks). Euros in the app — 51.50 hryvnias (minus 20 kopecks), via cards — 51.70 hryvnias (minus 10 kopecks).

    - **PUMB:** In tellers, dollars cost 45.20 hryvnias (unchanged), commercial rate — 45 hryvnias (decrease of 20 kopecks). Euros in branches — 51.70 hryvnias (unchanged).

    - **Monobank:** Selling dollars — 45 hryvnias (minus 4 kopecks), euros — 51.53 hryvnias (decrease of 27 kopecks).

### Calculating the Benefit
