# Dollar and Euro Drop in Value: Current Exchange Rates in Banks and Exchange Offices on July 1

In the morning of July 1, the Ukrainian currency market showed a moderate decline in the rates of major foreign currencies. The US dollar and the euro became cheaper both in exchange offices and in banking institutions. This marked a noticeable change compared to previous days when rates demonstrated higher volatility.

### Average Market Indicators

According to the Minfin portal, the average buying rate for the dollar in exchange offices was 44.75 hryvnias (a decrease of 10 kopecks), while the selling rate was 44.60 hryvnias (a drop of 15 kopecks). The euro in exchange offices is sold at 51.38 hryvnias (minus 14 kopecks), and bought at 51.15 hryvnias (a decrease of 20 kopecks).

The situation in the banking sector is similar: the average selling rate for the dollar was 45.04 hryvnias (a decrease of 4 kopecks), and the buying rate was 44.56 hryvnias (a drop of 3 kopecks). Banks sell the euro at 51.49 hryvnias (minus 3 kopecks), while buying it at 50.90 hryvnias (an increase of 4 kopecks).

### Rates in Major Banks

PrivatBank offers one of the lowest selling rates for the dollar in its branches — 44.90 hryvnias (a decrease of 15 kopecks). For card payments, the rate is 45.04 hryvnias (unchanged). The euro in the bank's branches can be bought for 51.30 hryvnias (minus 19 kopecks), and via card — for 51.28 hryvnias (a decrease of 26 kopecks).

Oschadbank sells dollars via its mobile app for 45.00 hryvnias (a drop of 10 kopecks), and for card operations — for 45.10 hryvnias (also minus 10 kopecks). The euro in "Mobile Oschad" costs 51.40 hryvnias (a decrease of 15 kopecks), and for cards — 51.60 hryvnias (minus 5 kopecks).

PUMB sells dollars in its cash desks for 45.20 hryvnias (a decrease of 10 kopecks), and the commercial selling rate is 45.00 hryvnias (also minus 10 kopecks). The euro in the bank's branches can be bought for 51.80 hryvnias (a drop of 10 kopecks).

Monobank offers a stable selling rate for the dollar — 45.03 hryvnias (unchanged), and for the euro — 51.26 hryvnias (a decrease of 26 kopecks).

### Where is it more profitable to buy and sell currency?

Among the analyzed banks, PrivatBank offers the lowest selling rate for the dollar in its branches — 44.90 hryvnias. For card operations, the most profitable option is Monobank — 45.03 hryvnias.

Monobank sells the euro at the lowest rate — 51.26 hryvnias, whereas in PrivatBank branches it can be purchased for 51.30 hryvnias.

The highest buying rate for the dollar among banks today is offered by PUMB (commercial rate) — 44.70 hryvnias, as well as Oschadbank and exchange offices — 44.60 hryvnias.

The euro is most profitable to sell in exchange offices — at 51.15 hryvnias. Among banks, the highest buying rates are offered by PUMB and Oschadbank — 51.10 hryvnias.
