# Dollar below 45 hryvnias: how exchange rates changed in banks and exchange offices on June 15

At the beginning of the new week, the Ukrainian foreign exchange market is showing noticeable dynamics: the US dollar continues to gradually decline, while the euro demonstrates steady growth. Despite the overall drop in the American currency's rate, the selling price of the dollar in most major banks is still holding above the psychological mark of 45 hryvnias.

### General market situation

According to Minfin monitoring data, the average dollar rate in exchange offices across the country continued to fall. At the moment, the average price to buy American currency is 44.85 hryvnias (a decrease of 5 kopecks), while the selling price is 44.80 hryvnias (unchanged).

The euro, on the contrary, shows positive dynamics. The average buying rate has risen to 52.35 hryvnias (+15 kopecks), and the selling rate is 52.15 hryvnias (+15 kopecks).

### Rates in the largest banks

At the start of the week, most financial institutions revised their dollar selling tariffs downwards. However, the difference between card rates and cash desk prices remains significant. Here are the current offers from market leaders:

    - **PrivatBank:** dollar selling rate in branches — 45.05 UAH (-5 kopecks), card rate — 45.04 UAH (-20 kopecks). The euro in cash desks costs 52.35 UAH (+5 kopecks), in the app — unchanged at 52.35 UAH.

    - **Oschadbank:** in the mobile app, the dollar is offered at 45.10 UAH (-10 kopecks), for card operations — 45.20 UAH (-10 kopecks). The euro in "Mobile Oschad" costs 52.25 UAH, and the card rate is 52.40 UAH.

    - **PUMB:** commercial dollar selling rate — 45.10 UAH, in cash desks — 45.30 UAH. The euro rate in branches is fixed at 52.50 UAH.

    - **Monobank:** offers one of the lowest dollar selling rates — 45.03 UAH (-21 kopecks). Meanwhile, the buying rate is 44.61 UAH (-17 kopecks). The euro is sold at 52.33 UAH and bought at 51.78 UAH (+8 kopecks), which is one of the most favorable indicators among major players.

### Where is it most profitable to exchange currency?

An analysis of offers allows us to identify the leaders in terms of rate profitability for today:

**For selling dollars:** the leader is Monobank with a rate of 45.03 UAH. Following are PrivatBank (45.05 UAH), as well as Oschadbank and PUMB (45.10 UAH).

**For selling euros:** the most favorable offer is from Oschadbank — 52.25 UAH. Monobank offers 52.33 UAH, and PrivatBank — 52.35 UAH.

**For buying dollars:** if you want to sell dollars, it is best to go to PUMB (commercial rate 44.80 UAH) or Oschadbank (44.70 UAH). In PrivatBank and Monobank, the buying rate is lower — 44.45 UAH and 44.61 UAH respectively.

**For buying euros:** it is most profitable to sell euros at PUMB at a rate of 51.80 UAH. Monobank offers 51.78 UAH, and Oschadbank — 51.75 UAH.
