# The dollar is rising again at exchange offices: the rate approaches 45 hryvnias, while the euro gains in value

On the morning of Monday, July 27, the foreign exchange market in Ukraine is witnessing an increase in the selling rate of the US dollar. According to analysts, the price of the "greenback" in exchange offices continues to creep up, approaching the important psychological mark of 45 hryvnias. The euro also demonstrated strengthening, adding a few kopecks to its price.

### Situation in exchange offices

According to data from the Minfin portal, on the morning of July 27, the average dollar rate in exchange offices was 44.88 hryvnias for purchase (+3 kopecks compared to the previous day). At the same time, the selling rate for foreign currency decreased slightly and reached 44.76 hryvnias (-1 kopeck).

The euro in exchange offices can be purchased today at a rate of 51.39 hryvnias (+4 kopecks). The currency can be sold for 51.18 hryvnias (+3 kopecks).

### Rates in banks

The situation in the banking network differs slightly. The average selling rate for dollars in banks was 45.05 hryvnias (-1 kopeck), while the purchase rate was 44.52 hryvnias (-4 kopecks). The euro in banks is offered for purchase at 51.39 hryvnias (-2 kopecks), and is sold for 50.76 hryvnias (-1 kopeck).

### Rates in leading Ukrainian banks

Leading financial institutions in the country have recorded the following rates for July 27:

    - **PrivatBank:** Dollar sales in cash desks — 44.99 hryvnias (unchanged), via cards — 45.04 hryvnias (unchanged). The euro in branches costs 51.50 hryvnias (+5 kopecks), and via cards — 51.54 hryvnias (unchanged).

    - **Oschadbank:** In the mobile app, the dollar is sold for 44.99 hryvnias (+4 kopecks), for cards — 45.10 hryvnias (+5 kopecks). The euro via the app is available for 51.40 hryvnias (-5 kopecks), and via cards — 51.55 hryvnias (-10 kopecks).

    - **PUMB:** Dollar sales in cash desks — 45.20 hryvnias (unchanged), via cards — 45 hryvnias (unchanged). The euro in branches costs 51.70 hryvnias (unchanged).

    - **Monobank:** Dollar sales — 45.03 hryvnias (unchanged), euro — 51.53 hryvnias (+8 kopecks).

Thus, purchasing 100 US dollars in different banks will cost between 4499 and 4520 hryvnias, depending on the chosen financial institution and the method of purchase (cash or card).
