The National Bank of Ukraine has set the new official currency rates for Friday, July 24. Amidst general volatility, the US dollar continued its upward movement, demonstrating more active growth compared to the previous day. Meanwhile, the European currency showed the opposite trend, slightly decreasing in value.

### Dynamics of the Dollar and Euro Exchange Rates

According to the regulator, the official exchange rate of the US dollar on July 24 was 44.81 hryvnias. This is 4 kopecks higher than the figure on Thursday, July 23, when the cost of the "greenback" reached 44.77 hryvnias. Thus, the trend of the national currency strengthening against the dollar is being replaced by its slow but steady increase in price.

The euro, on the contrary, demonstrates the opposite trend. For the current day, the exchange rate of the European currency is set at 51.05 hryvnias. Compared to Thursday, when the euro cost 51.06 hryvnias, it has become cheaper by 1 kopeck. This indicates a slow but stable decline in the euro exchange rate in recent days.

### Lending for Veterans: How to Minimize Risks

Apart from currency fluctuations, the issue of financial support for entrepreneurial activity remains relevant, especially for veterans of combat operations. Many of them face the need to attract loan capital to develop their business, but do not always have sufficient experience in working with banking products.

Experts recommend approaching the issue of lending in a balanced manner. Maksym Kuzmenko, Head of the Veterans Programs Department at Globus Bank and a veteran of the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade "Magura", shared key principles that will help avoid financial losses.

According to Kuzmenko, a loan should be a tool for development, not a source of constant stress. He advises aspiring entrepreneurs not to take large sums immediately, but to start with a smaller volume of financing. This will allow them to test the business model in practice and gradually scale up upon a successful result.

- The loan should work towards business growth.

- It is worth starting with small amounts to test the model.

- Scaling should happen in stages.

Adhering to these basic rules will help veteran entrepreneurs successfully obtain a loan and minimize financial risks in the conditions of an unstable economic situation.
