If just a few years ago the development of new technologies took decades, today the cycle from idea to mass deployment and countermeasure creation is measured in months. This was stated by Yaroslav Hryshyn, co-founder of the drone manufacturer "General Cherechnya," in an exclusive interview with RBC-Ukraine. The specialist holds back no emotions when speaking about Russia's attempts to create analogues of Ukrainian interceptor drones. According to him, the adversary's successes in this direction can be called laughable. Ukraine maintains a significant technological and tactical lead. ### The human factor versus inertia Hryshyn emphasizes that Ukraine's advantage lies not only in the "hardware." "They have something, but it is inferior in quality and smaller in quantity," the expert notes. However, he calls the human resource the key factor. In his opinion, Ukrainian pilots surpass their opponents in terms of creativity, innovativeness, training, and motivation. It is precisely this "human factor" that allows Ukrainian developers and operators to win the arms race, despite the adversary's colossal resources. ### New strategic goal: protecting armored vehicles Currently, Ukrainian R&D divisions face a critically important task β€” creating effective means of protecting domestically produced pickups, tanks, and armored personnel carriers. Hryshyn is confident that solving this problem will radically change the balance of power on the front and make attacks on enemy positions even more effective. "We know that the Russians are working on this, and we are working on it. We must win, because we need to radically change the situation on the front," stated the co-founder of "General Cherechnya." ### Revolution in defense: trillions versus reality The speed of changes in modern warfare is staggering. What previously required decades of preparation and trillions of dollars in investment is now happening according to completely different scenarios. The reality of the front dictates its own rules, breaking old dogmas of the military industry. Hryshyn emphasizes that survival requires making "super-efforts squared." There is simply no other way. This is confirmed by the fact that domestic defense companies are increasingly implementing elements of artificial intelligence and machine vision into their unmanned platforms, creating fully autonomous interception systems. Against the backdrop of these events, news continues to arrive about the expansion of international support: recently, two more allies signed a Drone Deal with Ukraine, further strengthening the country's technological potential.
