Kyiv's Dynamo has received a significant boost ahead of the high-stakes 12th round match of the Ukrainian Premier League against Shakhtar Donetsk. According to Sport RBC.UA, citing the capital club’s official website, one of the team leaders and captain, midfielder Vitaliy Buyalskyi, has returned to training with the main squad. His return substantially strengthens the 'White-Blues' roster before one of the key encounters of the season.

### The week's first training: analysis and intensity

The Dynamo players held their first training session of the week, starting with a theoretical session where the team analyzed the previous match against Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih (2:0). Following the video session, players performed a series of intensive ball-based exercises on the pitch. The squad was divided into two groups: players who participated in the match against Kryvbas worked on recovery, while others underwent a full training load.

### Return of the captain and other injured players

The highlight of the session was the return of Vitaliy Buyalskyi to the main group, who had been sidelined since early September after an injury sustained during training before the LNZ match. The 32-year-old midfielder last took the field on August 31 in a match against Bukovyna (0:3). This season, the Dynamo captain has played 8 games for the Kyiv side, providing two assists. Along with Buyalskyi, Kostiantyn Vivcharenko and Bohdan Redushko also trained in full after recovering from their injuries.

### Match against 'Shakhtar': a chance for redemption

Already this Sunday, November 8, Kyiv faces an extremely important 12th round UPL duel against Shakhtar Donetsk. The match will take place in Lviv, with kickoff scheduled for 18:00. For the 'White-Blues', this match offers a chance to redeem themselves following their recent crushing defeat by the 'Miners' (0:3) in the Ukrainian Cup Round of 16.

### Standings in the league table

At present, Shakhtar holds the top spot in the Ukrainian championship with 28 points, while Dynamo is in third place with 22 points. Therefore, the head-to-head meeting in Lviv could significantly impact the power balance in the top part of the table, and the return of Buyalskyi, Vivcharenko, and Redushko gives the Dynamo coaching staff a wider range of options in preparation for this confrontation.
