Streaming service Netflix has officially announced the start of production on the third season of Guy Ritchie's hit crime series The Gentlemen. Filming for the ambitious continuation is taking place across the UK and Morocco, with the project's cast expanding to include nine new high-profile names, including Hollywood stars Elijah Wood and Orlando Bloom. ### Star Additions and Expanded Scope The series ensemble has added Robert Carlyle, Elijah Wood, Orlando Bloom, Dexter Fletcher, Bruna Marquezine, Ed Speleers, Saffron Burrows, Philippe Arditi, and Bugzy Malone. Project creators note that the show's ambitions have grown significantly, making the criminal underworld even wider and more dangerous. At the core of the story remain the complex relationships between key characters as they face new challenges and the consequences of their actions. ### Character Evolution and Plot Development In previous seasons, protagonist Eddie Horniman, portrayed by Theo James, evolved from an inexperienced aristocrat into a powerful figure in the shadow economy. During the second season, he attempted to expand his empire, break into international markets, and secure a foothold in parliamentary politics, leading to severe trials and heavy losses. Nevertheless, according to the lead actor, viewers will witness an even darker transformation of the character and learn how much of himself he is willing to lose for power and vengeance. ### Tense Alliances and Uncertainty The relationship between Eddie Horniman and Susie Glass, played by Kaya Scodelario, remains the primary source of dramatic tension in the series. Although they reunited in business at the end of the second season, the level of trust between the partners has significantly deteriorated. Susie is no longer certain whether she can fully rely on the unpredictable moves of her partner, whose obsession with controlling the criminal empire crosses all boundaries. ### What to Expect from the Continuation The premiere date for the third season has not yet been announced by creators, but the scale of the locations and the inclusion of top-tier actors point to a grand continuation. The narrative is set to deepen themes of moral decay, political intrigue, and a ruthless struggle for spheres of influence. Fans of the franchise can look forward to official Netflix announcements while awaiting the first teasers and trailers. ## Fact-Check & Sources - [Элайджа Вуд и Орландо Блум в криминальном мире: что известно о 3 сезоне "Джентльменов"](https://wave.rbc.ua/ukr/culture/elaydzha-vud-ta-orlando-blum-kriminalnomu-1792947455.html) - Primary source confirms the cast additions, filming locations, and quotes from creators. - ["Волшебнику можно доверять": Элайджа Вуд заговорил о возвращении Фродо в новом "Властелине Колец"](https://glavred.info/movies/volshebniku-mozhno-doveryat-elaydzha-vud-zagovoril-o-vozvrashchenii-frodo-v-novom-vlasteline-kolec-10732079.html) - Подтверждено по источнику glavred.info - [Элайджа Вуд намекнул на возвращение героев "Властелина колец"](https://www.kinonews.ru/news_137104/) - Подтверждено по источнику kinonews.ru ## FAQ ### Which notable actors have joined the cast for season 3?
