A large-scale emergency occurred at the Krasnozavodsk Chemical Plant in the Moscow region, which is part of the state corporation Rostec. According to open sources and emergency services, a series of powerful explosions thundered on the enterprise's territory, resulting in the complete collapse of one of the production buildings. The incident has caused serious resonance, as it concerns a strategic facility involved in the defense industry.

### Scale of Destruction and Casualties

As a result of the explosion, workshop No. 4 of the Krasnozavodsk Chemical Plant was completely destroyed. Rescue operations were promptly deployed at the scene. According to preliminary official data, 7 people who were at the epicenter of the explosion became victims of the tragedy. However, surviving employees of the enterprise report that more people could have been inside the destroyed building, so search and rescue operations continue, and firefighters are fighting an open fire.

### Context and Background of the Facility

It is worth noting that the Krasnozavodsk Chemical Plant specializes in the production of UAV protection equipment and other defense products. The enterprise has previously attracted attention: in 2025, the plant was attacked by Ukrainian drones. In addition, the current emergency occurs against the background of increasing massive drone raids on the Moscow region in the autumn of 2026, which raises additional questions about the security of critical infrastructure.

### Contradictory Data

While official sources confirm the deaths of seven people and the destruction of the workshop as a result of an internal explosion, some independent Telegram channels and local residents suggest the possible involvement of drones in the morning incident, citing the sounds of flying objects before the explosions began. Official agencies are so far refraining from such comments, focusing on eliminating the consequences of the man-made disaster and extinguishing the fire.
