A serious industrial disaster occurred in the city of Daejeon, South Korea. A powerful explosion rocked the production facility of Hanwha Aerospace, resulting in the deaths of five people. Two others were hospitalized with various injuries. Information about the tragedy is confirmed by reports from The Korea Herald.

Events unfolded rapidly. Around 10:59 AM, dispatch services began receiving numerous calls from witnesses. People reported a loud explosion and thick smoke rising over the factory grounds. The emergency services reacted instantly: 44 units of equipment and approximately 100 firefighters were dispatched to the scene to extinguish the fire and search for victims.
