The investigation into the explosion in Monaco has entered a new phase. The Prince's Attorney General, Stéphane Thibaud, held a press conference to announce key findings. The main outcome was the official dismissal of the terrorist attack theory.

### Terror attack theory ruled out

Despite the serious consequences of the incident, law enforcement authorities have found no grounds to classify the event as a terrorist attack. Stéphane Thibaud stated that the data currently available does not allow the explosion to be classified as a terrorist act.

### Search for the criminal

The identity of the suspect remains unknown. The Monaco Criminal Investigation Department and French law enforcement agencies are involved in identifying and arresting him. According to the prosecutor, contact with French authorities is maintained, and the search is being conducted actively with hopes for the swift arrest of the perpetrator.

### Criminal case and victims

Criminal proceedings have been initiated under two articles: "attempted murder" and "placing explosives or explosive devices on public roads." The incident occurred on the evening of June 29 near a residential building in Monte Carlo. Surveillance cameras recorded an unknown individual leaving a backpack at the entrance and fleeing. Three people were injured in the explosion.

Among the victims, according to BFMTV, was Vadim Yermolayev, a businessman from Dnipro, along with his wife and 13-year-old son. After committing the crime, the suspect fled towards the French city of Beausoleil. Ukrainian diplomats have already established contact with the Monaco police, medical institutions, and judicial authorities to assist in identifying citizens and supporting the victims.
