# Fire at Zeekr Dealership: Aftermath of Russian Attack on Kyiv

On the night of June 2, Kyiv was subjected to a large-scale combined attack by Russian forces. As a result of the strikes, fires broke out in the capital and significant destruction was caused. One of the objects damaged by the fire was the Zeekr dealership for premium Chinese electric vehicles.

### Destruction of a Premium Dealership

The State Emergency Service (SES) published footage of the aftermath of the attack. The photos show that the Zeekr dealership building, located in the Podilskyi district, is seriously damaged. The fire destroyed part of the building's structure and the vehicles inside.

In response to the incident, Zeekr officially announced the suspension of operations at its Kyiv dealership. The brand, created in 2021 by Chinese giant Geely Holding Group, positioned itself as a direct competitor to Tesla. The brand targets Generation Z and tech enthusiasts, offering futuristic design and advanced safety systems.

### Scale of Destruction in the Capital

The attack on June 2 was one of the largest in recent times. Russia launched 656 unmanned aerial vehicles and 73 missiles at Ukrainian territory. Air defense forces intercepted 602 drones and 40 missiles, but some strikes reached their targets.

The most significant destruction was recorded in the Podilskyi district. A missile hit near a 9-story residential building, causing the upper floors to collapse. The fire also engulfed the territory of an educational institution. In seven other districts of Kyiv, residential buildings, gas stations, and business centers were damaged.

### Human Casualties

According to the latest data, at least four people were killed as a result of the night strikes on Kyiv. Another 58 people were injured, including three children. The situation in the city remains tense, and work to eliminate the consequences of the attack continues.
