The automotive fuel market in Ukraine is experiencing unexpected changes. On Thursday, June 18, a significant drop in prices was recorded at gas stations across the country. While some private networks are maintaining their previous rates, state-owned companies and major market players have decided to lower fuel costs.

### State-owned 'Ukrnafta' Leads the Price Cut

The state-owned company 'Ukrnafta' demonstrated the most dramatic changes in its price list. The network, traditionally known for its low prices, has widened the gap with competitors by offering fuel at the most accessible rates.

The reduction affected all main types of fuel:

- Proprietary A-95 gasoline (Energy) dropped by 3 hryvnias immediately.

- The cost of diesel fuel fell by 2–4 hryvnias.

- Autogas became 2 hryvnias cheaper.

This move allows 'Ukrnafta' to strengthen its position against the backdrop of price stagnation among other operators.

### SOCAR Network Response

Notable changes were also recorded at SOCAR company gas stations. Compared to data from June 17, fuel prices at these stations dropped by 1 hryvnia. The discount applied to both diesel fuel (including premium grades) and liquefied gas.

### Private Networks Maintain Status Quo

Against the backdrop of the active pricing policy of state-owned and large companies, popular private networks such as OKKO and WOG are not rushing to revise their tariffs. As of June 18, prices at their stations remain unchanged, making the offers from 'Ukrnafta' and SOCAR more attractive to drivers.
