The Ukrainian fuel market demonstrated sharp dynamics after the weekend. Starting Saturday, leading gas station networks began actively adjusting their price tags. On some days, certain operators changed fuel prices twice in 24 hours, sending a signal to drivers and analysts.

### Scale of the Price Hike

Compared to the start of the work week (Friday morning, July 17), the market situation has changed radically. The largest market players — OKKO and SOCAR networks — raised prices by 2 hryvnias per liter. The situation at WOG gas stations turned out to be more dramatic: there, fuel costs rose by 3 hryvnias. Even the state-owned network "Ukranaftha" could not withstand the trend, adding one hryvnia to the cost of its products.

### Detailed Price Breakdown for the Morning of July 20

On Monday morning, July 20, the market situation stabilized, but the final figures remained high. Different networks chose different strategies to respond to the change in market conditions:

- **WOG:** The network showed the most aggressive increase in the last 24 hours. The cost of gasoline and its euro-analogs rose by 2.60 UAH, while diesel fuel became 3 hryvnias more expensive per liter.

- **OKKO:** The operator applied a more restrained tactic, raising the cost of all types of gasoline and diesel by exactly 1 hryvnia per liter.

- **"Ukranaftha":** The state network adjusted price tags minimally — all fuel and diesel positions increased by only 50 kopecks.

- **SOCAR:** The premium network became an exception, leaving its price tags unchanged. Nevertheless, SOCAR continues to hold the highest price level in the market among most positions.

### Refueling Economics: How Much Extra Will You Have to Pay?

For the average driver, these changes have tangible financial consequences. If we take a standard tank volume — 50 liters of A-95 gasoline — as a basis, the difference between choosing a gas station becomes critical.

A calculation of the cost of a full tank shows that the difference between the cheapest network on this list ("Ukranaftha") and the most expensive (SOCAR) amounts to 300 hryvnias. This means that the choice of refueling location directly affects the car owner's budget, allowing for significant savings with proper planning.
