## 🎯 Key Points

- Gemini AI integration in the Fitbit Edge fitness tracker
- 1.34-inch AMOLED display and up to 7 days of battery life
- European retail price set at 179 euros at launch

Google has found itself at the epicenter of a massive data leak that has exposed detailed technical specifications, design, and pricing of the upcoming Fitbit Edge fitness tracker. Although the official presentation of the device is still ahead, online insiders have managed to fully disclose the key parameters of the gadget. The new product attracts attention not only for its ergonomic design, but also for its deep integration of proprietary intelligent technologies that were previously the exclusive privilege of the company's smartphones and flagship smartwatch lineups.

### Design, Ergonomics, and Body Materials

The new Fitbit Edge features a compact rectangular form factor with a rounded oval screen, two elongated physical side buttons, and convenient clips on the back for quick and seamless strap replacement. The dimensions of the durable aluminum case are 39.22 mm in width, 25.56 mm in depth, and 11.58 mm in height, with a record weight of just 17.7 grams. Additionally, the device boasts robust dust and water resistance compliant with 5 ATM and IP68 standards, making the tracker suitable for swimming and intense workouts in any weather conditions.

### Gemini AI Integration and Ecosystem

The main technological feature of the Fitbit Edge will be the implementation of advanced Gemini artificial intelligence algorithms. Users will have access to personalized training programs, interactive tips via the 'Ask Coach' feature, and real-time text prompts directly on the tracker's screen. Some advanced AI capabilities will be available through a Google Health Premium subscription. The device runs on proprietary Fitbit OS with Google Play services support and is compatible with smartphones running Android 11.0 and higher or iOS 16.4 and higher.

### Hardware, Battery Life, and Pricing

The gadget is equipped with a 1.34-inch AMOLED touchscreen supporting Always-on Display, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and an altimeter. The sensor suite enables heart rate monitoring, ECG measurements, blood oxygen (SpO2) tracking, and skin temperature monitoring. The lithium-ion battery provides up to 7 days of battery life (up to 2 days with Always-on Display), and a 5-minute USB-C charge delivers up to 24 hours of operation. The expected retail price in Europe is 179 euros.

### Controversial Data

Despite the high detail of the leak, various sources show some discrepancies regarding the exact official announcement date and the full list of regions for the first sales wave. Some insiders claim the global launch will happen during Google's autumn event, while other experts suggest a release delay due to ongoing software refinements for the AI features.
