# Ghost over Ufa: Mysterious F-117-Shaped Jet Drone Attacks Russian Refinery

On July 2, an event occurred over Ufa that prompted military experts and observers to seriously reconsider the new capabilities of Ukrainian aviation. During an attack on an oil refinery (NPP) in the city area, a drone was recorded whose silhouette strikingly resembles the legendary American stealth fighter F-117 Nighthawk.

In the released footage, the device demonstrates a geometry that is extremely unusual for most Ukrainian long-range UAVs. Experts from Clash Report have put forward a hypothesis: this could be a new jet attack drone, the Bravo Deep-Strike UAV Platform, developed by Triada Robotics. There is currently no official confirmation of this information, but the visual data makes one believe in the reality of this scenario.

### Technological breakthrough or allies' test?

The distinctive feature of the drone caught on video is its shape. Observers noted the similarity of the silhouette to the American low-observable fighter F-117 Nighthawk, created using technologies to reduce radar visibility. However, the shape alone does not mean that the device possesses full-fledged stealth characteristics. Such geometry can be used to improve aerodynamics or reduce visibility to certain types of radars.

It is likely that the device is equipped with a jet power plant. This could indicate a new stage in the development of Ukrainian long-range strike means, or it could have been a test of some foreign drone from Ukraine's allies. If this is indeed a product of the Ukrainian company Triada Robotics, then we are witnessing a paradigm shift in the conduct of air warfare.

### What is known about the Bravo platform

According to the developers themselves, Bravo is a jet disposable attack drone for deep strikes. By the creators' design, it should combine the capabilities of a cruise missile and a drone: be cheaper than traditional long-range missiles, but at the same time have a significant range.

Previously, RBK-Ukraine reported that Ukraine was testing a new long-range UAV Bravo, which could hit targets at a distance of up to 2000 km. Of course, the company's website only shows general drone shapes, so the rear part of the device in the video differs slightly. Perhaps the body shape was changed to optimize for combat tasks.

### Strategic consequences

The appearance of a jet long-range drone of this class could significantly change the capabilities of Ukrainian strikes on targets in the deep rear of Russia. This is confirmed by the activity of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in recent weeks:

    - Over the past two weeks, Ukrainian forces have almost daily struck logistics centers of the largest Russian marketplace Wildberries. As a result of the attacks, from 17% to 22% of the company's entire logistics infrastructure was damaged.

    - On the night of August 2, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the Saratov NPP, Engels airfield, an oil depot in the Kaluga region, and other objects.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that the Russian Federation is restoring damaged refineries and announced an action plan that would prevent the occupiers from having stability in the energy sector again. If the stealth drone has indeed become part of this arsenal, the effectiveness of such plans could increase manifold.
