Google has officially unveiled the design of its upcoming flagship — the Pixel 11 Pro. In the new teaser, the company did more than just show the device’s silhouette; it revealed one of the key visual features of the upcoming lineup: the Pixel Glow technology. This feature is likely to become the signature element of the next generation of smartphones.

### Pixel Glow: More Than Just a Flash

The main highlight of the presentation is the multi-color RGB lighting integrated directly into the main camera module. Google positions this element not as a decorative detail, but as a functional interface for user interaction. Pixel Glow is expected to serve as a notification indicator and provide visual feedback for Google Gemini AI operations.

In the marketing video, the company emphasizes a seamless transition into its ecosystem. The Pixel 11 Pro is positioned as the “next obvious step” for users who already rely on Google services daily — from Gmail and Calendar to Search and Docs. The logic is simple: if the software is already part of the user’s life, then Google’s proprietary hardware should complete the experience.

### Technical Changes and Market Impact

Under the hood, the new flagship is expected to feature the Google Tensor G6 processor. The chip will be manufactured using an advanced 2-nanometer process at TSMC facilities. Engineers promise a significant boost in energy efficiency, which should offset the slight reduction in battery capacity in Pro models.

However, the global crisis in the DRAM market has influenced device configurations. To compensate for rising component costs, Google plans to adjust pricing and memory tiers. The base model with 128 GB of storage will be completely removed from the lineup. The minimum storage capacity for all Pixel 11 series models will be 256 GB.

### Camera Evolution

The smartphone’s visual hardware will also undergo changes. Pro models will receive upgraded sensors for the main and telephoto lenses, improving performance in challenging conditions. Meanwhile, the front-facing camera may be less powerful: instead of the 42-megapixel sensor used in the Pixel 10 Pro, a 13 MP sensor is expected.

### Launch Date and Bonuses

According to updated information on the official Google Store website, the Made by Google event and pre-orders for the Pixel 11 lineup will take place on August 12. The company has already launched a loyalty program: users who subscribe to the Google Store email newsletter for the first time before the event date will receive an “exclusive offer.” Details of the bonus remain undisclosed.
