In Rio de Janeiro, 10-year-old Ukrainian gymnast Alexandra Pascal presented a new touching composition that sparked a wave of emotions among locals and world stars. The young athlete's performance in a landmark location of the Brazilian capital became part of the international 'Dance of Freedom' tour, aimed at reminding the world about the ongoing war in Ukraine and the struggle of children for their future.

### Conquering a football legend

The video of Alexandra's performance, published in a joint statement with FC Shakhtar Donetsk, is rapidly gaining popularity on Instagram and is approaching the one million views mark. Special attention to the girl's talent was shown by the 'Ballon d'Or' winner and Brazilian football legend Ronaldinho. He personally shared footage of the Ukrainian gymnast's performance on his social media, which became a huge recognition for the young athlete.

### The 'Dance of Freedom' route

The main goal of the large-scale tour is to perform on five continents over two weeks. Before arriving in South America, Alexandra had already performed in France and the USA. In New York, she danced on Times Square, attended the World Cup final, and met with boxer Oleksandr Usyk.

In Brazil, in addition to the street performance, Pascal visited a local training center where the country's Olympic athletes prepare. This allowed her to immerse herself in the atmosphere of professional preparation and exchange experiences.

### What's next?

The tour does not end in Rio. According to the schedule, the next destination will be the capital of Kenya - Nairobi (July 27), and the final point of the route is Tokyo (July 31). Alexandra's story, who survived a serious injury and learned to live with a prosthetic leg, continues to inspire people around the world, proving that sport can unite and overcome any boundaries.
