England and Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane is reportedly in the final stages of negotiations to sign a new contract with the club. The parties have already reached an in-principle agreement to continue their cooperation and have agreed on the key terms of the deal, moving on to the preparation and legal review of documents. An official announcement regarding the new contract is expected in the near future.

### Essence of the Agreement and Timeline

According to sources, Bayern and Kane have agreed to extend their cooperation until the summer of 2029. The English forward's current contract runs until the summer of 2027, meaning the new agreement will allow the Munich club to keep their main striker for another two seasons. At the current stage, the club has handed over the necessary documents to lawyers for review and approval, and formal signing is expected to take place in the coming days.

### Financial Side

According to media reports, the parties have also agreed on the financial terms for continuing their cooperation. Specific salary and bonus figures are not disclosed in open sources, but the fact that an agreement has been reached on the financial part of the deal is confirmed by the same data as the general course of negotiations. Thus, both key components of the contract — duration and compensation — have already been settled.

### Kane's Statistics in Munich

Harry Kane moved to Bayern from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2023. Since then, the English striker has played 156 matches for the German club and scored 154 goals, making him one of the most prolific players in the recent history of Munich. This efficiency has become the main argument in favor of extending the contract and securing Kane's status as the team's key forward for the coming years.

### Titles and Recognition

During his time playing for Bayern, Kane has twice become the champion of Germany, won the national Cup, and twice won the Super Cup. In addition, according to media reports, the striker has become the top scorer of the Bundesliga in each of his three seasons with the Munich side, emphasizing the stability of his scoring form from season to season.

### Prospects and the Ballon d'Or Race

The Englishman continues to demonstrate high productivity and, according to estimates, remains one of the main contenders for the Ballon d'Or. Last season, Kane scored 73 goals for club and country in 65 matches, including six goals at the World Cup. The new agreement until 2029 will allow both the player and the club to plan their sports strategy with a view to long-term preservation of his form and leadership in the attack.
