# Heat up to +32°C and thunderstorms: forecasters warn Ukrainians about the weather on Thursday

On Thursday, June 25, Ukraine is expected to experience true summer weather with temperature anomalies. According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center (UkrGMC), thermometers in the southwest of the country may rise to +32°C. However, comfortable heat may be disrupted by local precipitation.

### Where will it be hottest?

According to experts' forecasts, it will be warmest on this day in southwestern Ukraine. It is in this region that daytime temperatures will reach their peak. Other territories will also feature warm weather, but without the extreme values characteristic of southern latitudes.

### Danger of thunderstorms and wind

Despite the high temperature, the sky will not be completely clear. Variable cloudiness is forecast. Forecasters warn of the probability of short-term rains and thunderstorms, which are possible in some areas. These atmospheric phenomena may catch residents off guard, so it is worth paying attention to weather changes.

Throughout Thursday, the wind will blow mainly from the northwest. Its speed will be 5–10 m/s, which will create a feeling of coolness but will not be able to significantly lower the air temperature during the midday hours.

### Weather in Kyiv and the region

The capital region also falls within the scope of this forecast. On June 25, Kyiv and the Kyiv region are expected to have variable cloudiness. Residents of the capital should be prepared for the fact that sunny intervals may be replaced by short-term rains, typical for the summer season.
