According to experts from UkrGMZ, the situation with temperature records has been developing over three days. Meteorologists recorded that daytime maximums in a number of regions once again broke their historical values for these specific dates.

An analysis of data from meteorological stations showed that the exceedance of indicators ranged from 0.1 to 1.4°C. While this may seem like a negligible difference, for climate statistics, such deviations are significant and confirm the anomalous nature of the current weather.

UkrGMZ published a detailed map reflecting record values in regional centers. The period from July 31 to August 2 became a time of intense air heating in key cities of the country.

On Friday, July 31, new temperature maximums were recorded in several regional centers. The next day, on Saturday, August 1, the situation worsened: the air reached record highs in seven cities. On Sunday, August 2, specialists recorded temperature records in four more regional centers.

These data vividly demonstrate the scale of the phenomenon: the heat is not just maintaining high indicators but is systematically updating historical achievements established earlier.
