In the world of robotics, an event has occurred that could forever change the perception of household assistants. Unitree has presented an updated version of its humanoid robot G1, equipped with the advanced artificial intelligence model UnifoLM-OminiA-0.3. Now, the device is capable not only of moving around a room but also of independently analyzing the environment and making decisions to perform complex household tasks.

### From pillows to dishes: what the new G1 can do

During the demonstration of the updated software's capabilities, the robot proved itself to be a true household assistant. Seeing pillows scattered on the floor, G1 did not just register the mess but also determined their exact position. Afterward, it independently plotted a route to the sofa and carefully moved the interior items back to their places.

The range of tasks turned out to be broader than just cleaning textiles. The robot demonstrated the ability to recognize clothing, gather it, and fold it into a laundry basket. Also included in the device's repertoire is loading plates into a dishwasher—an action requiring precise coordination of movements and an understanding of the purpose of household appliances.

### Interaction with the real world

The final highlight of the presentation was the execution of a task upon human request: the android manually adjusted the height of a hospital bed. This episode clearly showed that the robot is capable of interacting with objects in the real world, understanding their mechanics, and responding to external commands.

### Important nuances of implementation

Despite the impressive demonstration, Unitree made important clarifications regarding the availability of these functions. Testing was conducted under special conditions, and not all production units of the G1 robot initially possess such capabilities. Performing such complex actions requires special software configuration and a training process.

Unitree, founded in 2016 in Hangzhou, China, has already established itself as a leader in the production of humanoid robots and robotic animals. This new step with the G1 model confirms the developers' desire to integrate complex robotics into everyday human life.
