On October 30, 2026, official sales of the iPhone Duo — Apple's first foldable smartphone in history — kicked off in Ukraine. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine citing the brand's authorized distributor, ASBIS-Ukraine. Following a week of pre-orders that opened on October 23, the new device became available for purchase through official Apple partners. The device is positioned as the smartphone with the largest display in the iPhone lineup, transforming the compact gadget into a tablet-like experience when unfolded. ### The Largest Display in iPhone History The main feature of the iPhone Duo is its foldable design with dual displays. When closed, users get a smartphone with a 5.4-inch external screen, and when unfolded, a 7.6-inch Super Retina XDR display whose area is 50% larger than that of the iPhone 18 Pro Max. According to Apple, this is not just a change in screen size, but a new way of using the device: on the large display, users can open two apps simultaneously — for example, working on a document while chatting, or browsing a website while comparing information in another window. The iOS interface adapts to how the device is folded. ### Performance and Battery Life Performance is powered by the A20 Pro chip, while photo and video shooting are handled by the Dual Fusion camera system featuring two 48-megapixel modules. The smartphone features a titanium chassis and two batteries that work as a single system. According to Apple, the device delivers up to 31 hours of video playback on the internal screen. The novelty is available in two colors — Star White and Night Sky — and in four storage configurations: 256 GB, 512 GB, 1 TB, and 2 TB. ### New Camera Usage Scenarios The foldable design opens up additional shooting opportunities. Thanks to the Duo Preview feature, the person being photographed can simultaneously see themselves on the external display, control the frame composition, and adjust their pose before the shot is taken. The external screen can also be used as a viewfinder for selfies using the main 48-megapixel camera. Furthermore, thanks to the design, the smartphone can be set at an angle without an additional tripod — specifically for video calls, shooting video, or viewing content. ### Multitasking and eSIM-Only Support The iPhone Duo supports Split View multitasking, allowing users to work with two apps side by side, as well as open two windows of the same application. Special attention should be given to network connectivity: the new device works exclusively with eSIM, without a physical SIM card, and supports the simultaneous use of two active eSIMs. ### Prices and Availability in Ukraine Official sales of the iPhone Duo in Ukraine are conducted through authorized Apple partners — including iSpace, Comfy, ALLO, Citrus, Rozetka, Foxtrot, MOYO, Vodafone, Kyivstar, and other retail networks. According to Ukrainian retailers, the price of the novelty varies depending on storage capacity and specific store conditions: prices in Ukraine start at 119,999 UAH and reach 213,999 UAH, whereas in the US the base model costs $1,999 and the top tier is $3,199, while in Europe the base configuration starts at €2,299. Pre-orders, which opened on October 23, were accepted without prepayment and guaranteed priority device pickup. ASBIS-Ukraine notes that purchasing from authorized partners ensures official product origin, an Apple warranty, and access to service maintenance. At the same time, actual availability of the required configuration and pickup conditions should be verified directly with the chosen seller. ## Fact-Check & Sources - [Первый складной смартфон Apple уже в Украине: стартовали продажи iPhone Duo](https://www.rbc.ua/ukr/news/pershiy-skladaniy-iphone-vzhe-ukrayini-startuvali-1793114124.html) - Primary source: launch date 30.10.2026, display specs (5.4"/7.6"), A20 Pro chip, 48MP Dual Fusion cameras, titanium build, 31h video, Duo Preview, Split View, eSIM, colors and storage, retailer list. - [В Украине открыли предзаказ iPhone Duo: цены стартуют от 119 999 грн](https://minfin.com.ua/2026/10/23/184130082/) - Confirms pre-orders starting 23.10, sales launch 30.10, pricing of 119,999–213,999 UAH, two colors and four storage options, high demand, and deferred shipments to January 2027. - [Смартфон по цене автомобиля: сколько стоит новый iPhone Duo в Украине](https://24tv.ua/tech/ru/iphone-duo-cena-v-ukraine-i-data-nachala-prodazh_n3165970) - Confirms order pickups starting 30.10.2026, pre-orders from 23.10, US pricing ($1,999–$3,199) and European pricing (from €2,299), trade-in, and purchase limits. - [Представлен iPhone Duo: первый складной смартфон Apple](https://hi-tech.mail.ru/news/155153-iphone-duo-preview/) - Confirms the iPhone Duo's status as Apple's first foldable smartphone showcased at the September event. ## FAQ ### When did iPhone Duo sales start in Ukraine?
